I had the good fortune to be invited to participate in ICE, the International Collectors Event held in Seattle over the long Labor Day weekend of 2013. It was four days of parties, touring collections, road trips,a 30th Anniversary screening of ROTJ, and seemingly endless swag produced for the each event.
The event included the grand re-opening of Gus Lopez’s and Pam Green’s Bobacabana. Also included were tours of other SARLACC members' collections, including the home of Lisa Stevens and Vic Wertz with the Death Star Theater designed by Doug Chaing.
There has been some limited coverage of this event on podcasts and a few websites, but not much has been revealed. I’ll be talking about the events of the weekend, showing off the swag, and screening photos of the events and collections.
