Summer Social 2011 -- Stafford Sept 24th

The 2011 DCSWCC Summer Social will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24th at Jonathan's house in Stafford VA.

Stafford, VA 22554
Google Maps is accurate. After turning right from Courthouse Rd onto Andrew Chapel Rd, you will see Jonathan's stone driveway on the left side before Jonathan's wooded fence. There will be balloons tied to the end of the fence.

Sorry for the barrage of last-minute updates -- that's why we asked for a VOLUNTEER to coordinate the social rather than me
The cost for the Social this Saturday will be $5 per person, under age 3 is free, maximum of $15 per family.

Continuing on my strong tradition of forgetting stuff until the last minute... We WILL be doing a Sarlacc Swap at the social. The rules are as follows. You bring a gift, you get a raffle ticket during check-in. All gifts must be "wrapped" so that the gift is a surprise when opened. All gifts must be a Star Wars collectible with a documented value of $15-$20. Raffle tickets are drawn one at a time; the holder of that ticket gets to choose one wrapped gift. It's not required, but it's more fun when you open your new gift for all to see. In addition, there is a prize for the "best decorated" gift.

Reminder! We will be raffling off the infamous "giant wookiee head" at the social! $1 per ticket, 6 tickets for $5.
In case you forgot, this is a full-size life-like display head of Tarfful made by professional artist and former DCSWCC member Roncula about five years ago.

Official time of the Social is 12:00 noon to 5:00pm.
We will try to start the food line moving at around 12:45.
Feel free to come early to help set up, and/or stay late to help clean up.
